Urgent vs. Important according to Webster: Urgent… calling for haste, immediate action. Important… meaning a great deal, having much value.
The important, by definition, is what is most valuable. Now, make it more urgent too.
Today’s TQ Challenge: Make Time for What You Want.
- Choose to be DEDICATED! Which of your activities today could be defined as urgent?
- Choose to be FULFILLED! Which of your activities today could be defined as important?
- Choose to be SATISFIED! What can you do to call for immediate action on that which means a great deal and has much value to you?
You will never magically have more time for what you want. If you want to spend more time on what’s most important to you, you have to make the time. You must learn to carve out “prime” time from all the other demands in your life. It really comes down to this, “How much do you want it?” When you focus your time on what’s most rewarding to you, your life will be more fulfilling.
“Leaders aren’t born, they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that’s the price we’ll have to pay to achieve that goal, or any goal.” ~ Vince Lombardi
