Deep breathing is the best way to promote mental stimulation. Take a brisk walk, do knee bends — anything to increase your deep breathing and stretch your muscles.

Taking a break and stretching is an excellent way to maintain your energy.

  1. Choose to be ENERGETIC! Stand up right now and stretch or take a quick walk.
  2. Choose to be DYNAMIC! Can’t get away from the desk? Ever try isometrics? Stretching?
  3. Choose to be VIVACIOUS! Do you have an action plan for the next time your energy starts to fade?

There’s a direct connection between your physiology, your energy level and success. Whenever your body movements become lethargic, or your posture begins to slump, you automatically slow down — both mentally and physically. Assume a powerful, self-assured position and you’ll instantly feel more energetic. Move about quickly, and your enthusiasm naturally increases.
